I am an architect and researcher with a profound interest in Deccani Islamicate history and heritage, based in Hyderabad. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad and am the author of Hyderabad Deccan: Illustrated. Throughout my academic journey, I have received various awards and recognitions for excellence in architectural studies and historical research.
I specialize in heritage conservation, architectural documentation, and historical research. My practice emphasizes documenting and interpreting cultural heritage through curation, illustration, and digital archiving. I founded The Deccan Archive, a heritage and design collective dedicated to recording Deccani cultural environments and exploring new methods of presenting and communicating heritage data.
I regularly write on themes related to architecture, history, and heritage, with a focus on cultural preservation. I also maintain an active curatorial practice, having organized exhibitions as well as heritage walks across India. My work primarily engages with historical monuments as vehicles for storytelling, supported by a wide range of technical skills, including illustration, photography, and GIS mapping.
